Abstract

In the modern times, the practice of medicine has become more a science than art because the focus is more on using advanced diagnostic and treatment modalities and practising evidence based medicine. The psychological condition of the patient is not paid attention to. However, from ancient times, the art and science of medicine have both been proved to be equally important to relieve human suffering. This article delves into the nuances of practising modern medicine today with equal emphasis on both the art and the science of medicine.
